STUDENTS FROM ST BERNARD CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL IN SHEFFIELD TO VISIT LESOTHO IN OCTOBER 2012
On his recent visit to Rotherham, Sheffield the Acting High Commissioner Mr.Teboho Mohapi met with twenty-three (23) students from St. Bernard Catholic School who will be visiting their peers at Ribaneng Catholic High School in Mafeteng. The students will be accompanied by four (4) teachers from St Bernard’s Catholic High School in Rotherham together with a doctor, a nurse and a priest.

The visit and partnership will be facilitated by the charity Africa’s Gift – formerly known as Khokanyana – Phiri and has the former High Commissioner of Lesotho to the United Kingdom His Royal Highness Prince Seeiso Bereng Seeiso as its patron. Africa’s Gift specialises in long term partnerships with mutual benefits in Lesotho. The focus of the partnership work is on education for sustainable development. The partnership will also be heavily involved in a sustainable tree planting scheme in Ribaneng as part of the Trees4Africa campaign that HRH Prince Seeiso and Africa’s Gift Founder and Chairman Ken Dunn launched a little while ago.
